Support Worker for Children's Residential Home

Location: Pulborough, West Sussex

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £14.45 per hour

Hours: Waking Nights & Long Day Shifts Available

Hunts Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Support Workers to work within a children's residential home in Pulborough, West Sussex.

We are recruiting:

  • Female Support Workers for waking night shifts
  • Male or Female Support Workers for long day shifts

Due to the rural location of the service, drivers are strongly preferred.

The Role

You will be supporting children in care who may present with additional behavioural and emotional needs. The role involves promoting independence, providing emotional support, maintaining a safe environment, and assisting with day-to-day activities in line with care plans.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within children's residential care, support work, education, or a similar care setting is highly advantageous
  • A caring, resilient and professional approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
