We are urgently recruiting for Bank Support Workers to work with teenagers in a supported living setting in Bournemouth. You will be supporting young people aged 16-18 who have arrived in the UK without parental support, helping them to settle, build confidence, and develop independence skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people in a supported living environment
- Assist with daily living skills (cooking, budgeting, routines)
- Help with GP registration, education and benefits applications
- Encourage independence and confidence building
- Provide emotional support and build positive relationships
Shift Patterns:
- Day shifts
- Sleep-in shifts
- Flexible bank work available
Requirements:
- Experience working with teenagers or young people (essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, reliable, and supportive approach
- Additional languages desirable due to limited English spoken by some young people
