Are you an organised, customer-focused administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly from initial enquiry right through to delivery? We're looking for a Sales Administrator to join a busy and friendly Sales team within an established business based in Redhill. This is a varied role where you'll be supporting customers, processing quotations and orders and working closely with teams across the business to make sure everything is accurate, on time and delivered with a great level of service.
The role
- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Managing orders from initial enquiry through to delivery
- Keeping customers updated on progress and resolving day-to-day queries
- Liaising with internal teams including Production, Stores, Engineering and Finance
- Maintaining accurate customer and order information on CRM and ERP systems
- Arranging deliveries and completing associated documentation
- Following up on outstanding orders, delivery details and payment information
- Supporting warranty claims and customer documentation where required
- Ensuring information is accurate and orders are processed correctly first time
- Supporting the wider Sales team with general administration during busy periods
What we're looking for
- You’ll ideally have previous experience within Sales Administration, Customer Service, Order Processing or a similar office-based role
- Experience handling customer enquiries, quotations and/or sales orders
- Confident communication skills and a professional, friendly approach
- Strong organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience using a CRM or ERP system
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- The ability to work well with different teams across a business
