We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Procurement Specialist to join their growing team based in Camberley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a people-focused organisation that values collaboration, flexibility and professional development.

Location: Camberley - Hybrid Working

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP35,000 (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Working within a fast-paced contract negotiation team, you will play a key role in managing procurement activities across various contracts. This position is integral to delivering a high level of service to clients while supporting retention and business growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and issuing tenders to suppliers within agreed deadlines
  • Negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers
  • Producing accurate cost comparisons and recommendations for clients
  • Managing both manual and electronic data to ensure accurate analysis
  • Issuing contract recommendations via email and following up with clients
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Supporting ongoing contract management and resolving client queries
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support wider business objectives

What we are looking for:

  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in building relationships over the phone
  • Numerate with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience within the energy/utilities sector is desirable but not essential
  • Proactive, with a positive and solutions-focused approach
