Purchasing & Planning Manager – MRP Implementation Focus
An established UK supplier to the construction industries is looking for an experienced Purchasing & Planning Manager to take ownership of setting up and embedding a new MRP system at the heart of its operations.
The Role
This senior Purchasing & Planning Manager role, reporting directly to the MD, will be pivotal in driving efficiency across procurement, stock control, and forecasting. The successful Purchasing & Planning Manager will lead the full implementation of a new MRP system (experience with Sage/Sicon highly advantageous), ensuring it becomes a core tool for optimising processes and supporting growth.
Alongside MRP implementation, you’ll manage supplier relationships, negotiate best-value contracts, source internationally, and mentor one team member. You’ll also collaborate closely with sales and finance to align supply chain planning with business objectives.
