We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor to join our successful manufacturing client based in Bradford. The position offers flexibility, with the option to work full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s preferences. There is also flexibility on start and finish times between the hours of 7am-5pm.
This is a varied and hands-on role, with a primary focus on managing the payroll function while also assisting the management team with administrative responsibilities with the HR function.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Processing bi-weekly payroll for both time and piece workers
- Collating and inputting accurate payroll data into Moorpay
- Collating time and attendance data from Tensor, creating report for payroll
- Processing SSP, SMP, pensions and Holiday pay
- Payroll reconciliation and managing general payroll queries
This role also involves admin tasks such as:
- Supporting with new starter/leavers administration and recruitment vetting
- Supporting Directors with any administration to do with HR and Employee relations
- Creating Excel reports for the Senior Leadership Team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience running end to end payroll independently
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- A willingness to join a smaller team with a hands-on approach to tasks
- Strong people skills with a desire to build strong internal relationships
