About the Role
Skamper Anytime is a new way for runners to race - verified routes, run anytime, no race-day logistics. We're early-stage and still proving the sales model. This role is about getting it off the ground, not maintaining a finished system.
You’ll use your retail experience to sell the Anytime concept in two ways:
- Set up new local Anytime series: Recruit shops, clubs, and local organisers to run 6-race Anytime series in towns, cities, and trail hubs.
- Sell Anytime to existing race organisers: Help organisers add an off-calendar, low-risk revenue stream alongside their main events.
This is a hands-on sales role - calls, shop visits, real conversations - not "partnership management".
This Role Is Ideal If You:
- Currently manage (or have managed) a running or outdoor retail shop
- Are a runner and know your local scene
- Are confident selling face-to-face and on the phone
- Want commission and upside, not just a salary ceiling
- Like the idea of shaping something early rather than following scripts
Pay & Opportunity
This is a part-time, flexible role with a full-time equivalent package of £28k-£40k, reflecting base pay plus success-related elements. Beyond financial reward, the role offers the chance to benefit from equity in an early-stage business and be part of building a concept that could scale nationally - and potentially globally. This is a rare opportunity for someone with retail or event sales experience to shape a new way of racing from the ground floor.
As an organisation, we encourage applications from all backgrounds and will ensure measures are met when required, to allow a fair process throughout. PLEASE NOTE: We can only consider applications from candidates who have the right to work in the UK.
