Claims Handler in Kings Hill

Claims Handler - Kings Hill, Kent 2 days office - 3 days home. £15.85 per hour - Temp to Perm

You’ll be managing public liability claims from first notification through to resolution, working directly with policyholders, claimants, and third parties to get a fair outcome.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a caseload of public liability claims end to end
• Assessing liability and reviewing evidence to determine next steps
• Liaising with solicitors, loss adjusters, and third parties where needed
• Keeping claimants updated and records accurate throughout
• Identifying potential fraud or inconsistencies and escalating appropriately

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in insurance claims, legal, or a similarly detail‑driven role
• Strong written and verbal communication - you’ll be explaining decisions to people who don’t want to hear them, as much as good news
• Comfortable working to deadlines and SLAs
• Good working knowledge of MS Office; claims systems experience is a bonus, not a must
