A regulated infrastructure business is appointing a People Partner to support its operational teams across the South East. This is a hands-on, ER-led generalist position rather than a policy role.
The role:
- Manage employee relations cases end to end, including grievance, disciplinary, performance and absence.
- Advise and coach operational managers on policy, procedure and employment law compliance.
- Reduce case volume through early intervention and upstream resolution.
- Design and deliver manager training on performance and absence management.
- Support the Senior People Partners on restructure and organisational change projects.
- Maintain accurate people data and produce team reporting in line with GDPR.
Experience required:
- Background as an HR Advisor, ER Specialist or People Partner.
- Strong UK employment law knowledge and current live casework experience.
- Demonstrable track record of advising and influencing senior operational stakeholders.
- Experience designing and delivering manager training.
- Exposure to organisational change and restructure.
- Commercially minded, numerate and comfortable managing shifting priorities.
- CIPD Level 5 or above, or equivalent practical experience.
