This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, looking after customers and naturally spotting opportunities to grow accounts, rather than a heavily targeted or aggressive sales environment. The role offers a great balance of account management, customer service and soft sales, alongside some proactive new business activity.
Working within a supportive office team, you'll be speaking with a mix of existing, repeat and lapsed customers, following up warm leads and introducing services to potential new clients. Much of the role centres around maintaining strong relationships, securing annual renewals and ensuring customers receive an excellent level of service.

- Managing and developing existing customer accounts
- Following up warm leads and customer enquiries
- Re-engaging lapsed clients and building relationships

- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone
- Friendly, confident and relationship focused
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Self‑motivated with a positive approach
- Able to work in a busy, team‑focused environment
- Engineering industry knowledge would be helpful but is by no means essential. Personality, communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships are far more important.
What's on Offer
- £26,000-£27,000 basic salary
- Realistic commission structure with achievable targets (OTE £31,000)
- Stable and growing business
- Supportive and down‑to‑earth team culture
- Long‑term opportunity within a well‑established company
