Halifax (Hybrid – 1 day working from home)
Salary: £45,000 + Benefits (including free parking)

Our client, a rapidly growing organisation based in Halifax, is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join their management team. After a period of significant expansion, the company is now focusing on consolidating its support functions, refining internal processes, and building a strong people strategy to support ongoing growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and qualified HR professional to take ownership of the HR function, drive change, and have a real impact on the business and its culture.
You\’ll lead HR operations and provide expert guidance to line managers across the business. You\’ll also manage a small HR team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the full employee life cycle – from recruitment and on boarding to development, retention and off boarding
* Coach and support line managers to handle day-to-day HR issues with confidence and consistency
* Review and improve HR structures, processes, and systems to support long-term business needs
* Overhaul the induction process to create a more engaging and impactful experience for new starters
* Drive employee engagement and well being initiatives
* Support the business goal of becoming a Top 100 Employer by 2026
* Ensure policies and procedures are compliant with UK employment law
* Monitor and report on key people data, including absence, attrition and performance
* Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and benefits providers
* Maintain accurate employee records and reporting through Breathe HR

What We\’re Looking For:
* CIPD Level 5 (or higher) or equivalent HR qualification
* Previous experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner
* Strong generalist knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, performance and development
* Sound understanding of current UK employment law and HR best practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
* Experience coaching and developing line managers
