We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Temporary Sales Order Processor to join our team in Horley. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping operations running smoothly. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting the wider team during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer orders via phone, email, and online systems
- Verify order details for accuracy before processing
- Manage and maintain inventory records, ensuring stock levels are up to date
- Coordinate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate despatch
- Check stock availability and liaise with warehouse/despatch teams
- Update order status and maintain accurate records on internal systems
- Resolve order queries and discrepancies in a timely manner
- Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in order processing, administration, or a similar role (desirable but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and order management systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
