Full-time | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced live events business. Working closely with the Finance Lead and wider UK finance team, you will support day-to-day finance operations including invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations and reporting across multiple festivals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices for operational costs and managing weekly payment runs
  • Processing artist and talent invoices and coordinating associated payment runs
  • Maintaining AP & AR ledgers, including supplier statement reconciliations
  • Investigating and resolving invoicing discrepancies promptly
  • Sharing remittance advice with suppliers and partners
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes
  • Assisting with reporting into the Group consolidation system
  • Managing overseas withholding tax matters relating to artists and talent
  • Supporting accurate financial reporting and data integrity
  • Collaborating with finance and operational teams across the business

Skills & Experience

  • 1 year minimum experience maintaining an AP ledger
  • AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience
  • Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Confident working across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Xero is desirable
  • Experience within hospitality, entertainment or events is beneficial
  • Be available for 2 weeks at the end of Aug to attend the festival site
