We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing financial services business for a Customer Service Advisor to join their London customer support team. You'll be the first point of contact for customers dealing with their accounts, payments and transactions - work that carries real responsibility and gives you exposure to a regulated environment from day one.
What you'll be doing- Handling inbound calls from customers about accounts, payments and transactions
- Resolving queries first time where possible, and escalating appropriately where not
- Accurately recording customer information and case notes on internal systems
- Investigating issues and following them through to resolution
- Identifying and supporting customers in vulnerable circumstances in line with company policy
- Working to internal procedures and regulatory standards on every interaction
- Customer service or contact centre experience (financial services background welcome but not essential)
- Clear, confident communication and genuine listening skills
- Strong attention to detail - accuracy matters in a regulated environment
- Comfortable picking up new systems and software quickly
- Able to stay composed and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Availability to work the 2pm - 11pm shift pattern
- Full training and ongoing development, including support towards financial services qualifications
