We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team on an interim basis. This is a great opportunity for an organised, detail-focused administrator who thrives in a busy, people-facing environment and enjoys providing high-quality support to teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing proactive admin support and acting as first point of contact for the team
  • Responding promptly to calls/emails and maintaining accurate, confidential records
  • Supporting scheduling, diary coordination and organising meetings, events and training
  • Taking minutes and supporting meetings
  • Maintaining databases, data and admin systems
  • Preparing documents, reports and statutory returns
  • Keeping stakeholders informed and gathering feedback to support service improvement

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous admin/customer support experience
  • Confident with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone manner, with strong attention to detail
  • Able to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data handling best practice
