Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance and Accounts professional, looking for a new challenge to start immediately?
We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a company based in Brighton on a temporary basis for 3 months. This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week, paying a salary between £23.9k-£27k Per Annum and offering hybrid working (3 days in office and 2 days from home).
Responsibilities
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and responding to payment queries in a timely manner
- Processing and coding of invoices and purchase orders
- Updating and maintaining financial accounts, documentation, and data such as addresses, payment terms, and other contact details
- Monitoring overdue accounts, issuing reminders and negotiating payments
- Liaising with other departments and supporting with daily and weekly accounts payable administration tasks when required
Requirements
To be successful for this position, you must have knowledge of accounts payable systems including invoice processing, as well as previous experience of working in a fast-paced accounts payable function. You must also have excellent numerical, communication and organisation skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
