Accounts Assistant
We are recruiting for a full time Accounts Assistant to join a company based on the outskirts of Halstead on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and paying a salary between £28k-£31k Per Annum (DOE). This is a fully office-based role with free parking onsite – You must be able to drive due to company location.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Reconciling bank statements and financial account updates
* Helping with monthly reporting, cash flow, and assisting with budgeting
* Processing invoices as well as sales and purchase ledger management
* Completing monthly payroll, dealing with payroll queries, PAYE, VAT, and employee expenses
* Supporting with order processing and other office ad-hoc duties when required
* Responsible for the renewal and management of company insurance policies and contracts
To be successful for this position, you must have proven experience in a similar role within an office environment, as well as advanced knowledge of Sage 50 and Xero accounting software.
