Accountant
Our client is looking for a proactive and committed Senior Accountant to join their welcoming team in Huddersfield on a full-time basis. Offering accounting services to clients in various industries.
The role involves:
- Preparing statutory year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Strong knowledge of personal and corporate taxation across all areas.
- Communicating with clients about their accounts, tax returns, and any other related matters.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and ensuring completion for clients.
- Managing management accounts.
- Handling a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns annually.
- Addressing client queries via phone and email.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are fully qualified (ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience)
- Have a solid knowledge across accountancy services with the ability to independently prepare a set of accounts
- Experience of working in UK chartered practice.
