We are working with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced and driven Planning & Scheduling Team Leader to join their scheduling function. The Role

As Planning & Scheduling Team Leader, you will oversee day-to-day scheduling operations, ensuring the team delivers an efficient and effective service. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of schedulers while acting as the key point of escalation for operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of schedulers, providing day-to-day guidance and support
  • Oversee the allocation and coordination of resource across scheduling operations
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs, identifying areas for improvement
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex scheduling queries and conflicts
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the scheduling function
  • Produce and present regular reports on scheduling performance and capacity
  • Collaborate with wider operations and management teams to align scheduling with business needs
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, resource planning, or operations coordination role
