Part-Time HR Advisor
Location: Maidstone (Office-based)
Hours: 3 days per week - Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Salary: £38,000 FTE (pro rata)
We are working with a growing and dynamic organisation based in Maidstone, who are looking to recruit a Part-Time HR Advisor to support their expanding workforce. This is a fully office-based role, working three full days per week (Monday-Wednesday), and would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys being hands-on and working closely with managers and employees.
The Role
- Reporting into the senior HR team, the HR Advisor will provide generalist HR support across the business, including:
- Advising managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance issues
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and probation processes
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Assisting with HR projects and initiatives aligned to business growth
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for HR queries
About You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident advising managers and handling ER matters end to end
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
