We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Manager (B2B Field Sales) to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving commercial growth within the industrial and commercial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow market share across the industrial and commercial sector
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, delivering an exceptional level of customer service
  • Managing a pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, email campaigns and face-to-face meetings
  • Producing and implementing territory plans to maximise sales opportunities and achieve revenue targets
  • Working closely with Key Account Managers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for larger commercial and industrial connections
  • Maintaining accurate sales records, forecasts and activity reports to support business planning and performance
  • Developing relationships with other industry organisations and key partners to strengthen market presence

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a business development, account management or B2B sales role within an industrial, commercial or technical environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience managing a sales territory and developing new business opportunities
  • Commercially minded with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
