ABOUT THE ROLE

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the distribution sector who are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing accounts effectively, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for clients and support the wider sales and operations teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts and maintain strong working relationships
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide ongoing support throughout the account lifecycle
  • Process orders, quotations, and account updates accurately using internal systems
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and support business growth where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information
  • Provide administrative support to the wider team as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience within account management, customer service, sales support, or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and internal CRM systems
  • A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
