Location: East Leeds - office based

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and ready to play a key role in the fast-moving world of international trade? We're looking for an Imports Coordinator to help and ensure goods move smoothly from factories around the world to the customer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, managing multiple priorities and being part of a supportive imports and purchasing team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Review and approve supplier and shipper invoices for payment.
  • Accurately post invoices onto the system and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit customs clearance and declaration documentation.
  • Monitor shipments from dispatch through to successful delivery, ensuring customers and internal teams are kept informed.
  • Raise purchase orders with factories around the world for both company stock and customer stock.
  • Support the Lead Importer by maintaining sales and purchase data and updating data sheets for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track shipments and liaise with shippers, hauliers and customers to resolve any issues.
  • Maintain accurate filing and provide support to the accounts, imports and purchasing teams when required.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
  • Confidence in carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of SAGE is essential.
  • An understanding of imports, customs procedures and/or logistics would be advantageous.
