As an Assistant Buyer within Menswear, you will support the buying function across product development, range management and trading activity. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role, ideal for someone passionate about product and keen to progress into a Junior Buyer position.
Working closely with the Senior Menswear Buyer and wider team, you will help deliver a commercial, on-brand product range.
Location: Leeds
Salary: £28,000 +
Key Responsibilities
- Support product range selection, development and sign-off
- Maintain departmental trackers, spreadsheets and buying systems
- Prepare competitive analysis and product performance reports
- Manage the critical path and supplier communication
- Coordinate samples and support photography and catalogue accuracy
- Identify process improvements and support ad-hoc buying projects
- Support training and workload management where required
About You
- Degree in Fashion Buying (or related), or minimum 3 years' Buying Assistant experience
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- Proactive, commercially aware and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
- Passionate about product and career progression within buying
