Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join their team in Birstall. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, customer communication, and supporting a wide range of business functions – from credit control and invoicing to CRM updates, social media coordination, and general administrative support.

Mon to Fri, 30 mins lunch

Key Responsibilities

  • Records & Systems: Maintain and update both electronic and manual filing systems. Identify and propose improvements to internal record-keeping and organisational processes.
  • CRM & Reporting: Ensure all customer, financial, and operational data is accurately recorded in the company CRM system. Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on finance, stock, and operations to senior management.
  • Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with the UK & Ireland Sales Manager to manage and update the company website and social media content. Assist with marketing initiatives, including product launches, digital campaigns, and email communications.
  • Customer, Credit Control & Accounts Support: Build strong relationships with customers and accounts teams to ensure timely invoice generation, delivery, and payment. Carry out credit control duties including monitoring outstanding debts, contacting customers regarding overdue payments, and maintaining accurate records of all payment activity. Handle telephone calls with customers regarding payment follow-ups and general support queries.
  • Internal Support: Assist service technicians with travel and accommodation bookings, including hotels and hire cars. Liaise with internal departments to improve workflows and enhance the overall customer experience.
