A global technology company is seeking an experienced Localisation Vendor Management Associate to join their team on an initial 6-month assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate regular communications and reporting to vendors.
- Act as the point of contact for vendor management regarding operational issues.
- Liaise with Project Coordinators to address specific vendor issues.
- Track vendor linguistic capacity weekly.
- Coordinate approvals for retainers and weekend/holiday requests with vendors.
- Summarize vendor issue trends for cross-functional review.
- Support the management and enhancement of 'vendor experience'.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring vendor ramp-up plans.
- Work with LMs and LPMs to set up and manage vendor Workplace groups.
- Serve as Vendor Management Point of Contact in each group.
- Schedule and monitor vendor training sessions.
- Maintain a database of vendors and resources.
- Support the creation and maintenance of process documentation.
- Communicate with external localization vendors effectively.
- Ensure external resources are provisioned on internal systems per company policy.
- Monitor vendor performance, identify risks, and escalate issues.
- Manage vendor testing, probation, and localization schedules.
- Track and prioritize issues affecting vendor operations.
- Analyze production issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure localization needs are met.
- Maintain records of vendor training completion.

Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in localization, vendor, or project management.
- BA/BS in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as PHP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility.
- Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization.
