We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Management Team Leader to join an established team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to extend. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FM professional who enjoys taking ownership, leading teams and ensuring high standards across a diverse property portfolio.
You will be responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management function, managing a team of approximately six people and ensuring the effective delivery of FM services across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Facilities Management function and wider FM team
- Oversee the delivery of facilities services across a varied property portfolio
- Ensure engineering, technical and statutory compliance requirements are met
- Manage contractors, suppliers and procurement activities
- Support FM governance, vetting processes and compliance procedures
- Carry out regular site visits across a range of properties, ensuring standards are maintained
- Provide guidance, support and leadership to the FM team
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience working within Facilities Management
- Previous experience managing an FM team, service or function
- Strong knowledge of engineering, technical and statutory compliance
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers and procurement processes
- The ability to work across multiple sites and build strong working relationships
- A proactive approach with excellent organisational and leadership skills
