Our client is seeking a highly organised and adaptable Operations Coordinator to support the growth of their UK business. This is a varied role covering sales and purchasing administration, technical service coordination, warehouse and logistics support, customer service and general back-office administration. The role will suit someone who enjoys working across different areas of a business and is comfortable managing a varied workload. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the administration of sales and purchasing activities
- Process sales orders for equipment, parts and services, including quotations, order confirmations, invoices and shipping documentation
- Handle customer claims and returns and provide first line customer support
- Support the technical service team with service bookings, customer communication, invoicing and contract renewals
- Assist with materials procurement and maintain contact with international suppliers
- Monitor supplier deliveries, check invoices and manage supplier claims and returns
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and support warehouse and logistics administration
- Pack consumables and spare parts orders and maintain stock records
- Provide customer and visitor support
- Assist with exhibitions, demonstration days and general administration
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in office management or a similar administrative role
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage varied tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing with customers and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including lifting, packing and stacking boxes
- ERP and Microsoft Excel knowledge would be advantageous
