Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000

Location: Portsmouth

About the Role:

Exciting opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives, build strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver value, quality, and compliance in a dynamic environment.

About You:

1. CIPS or MCIPS qualified, or alternative relevant qualifications
2. Familiarity with regulated procurement procedures (UCR or PCR)
3. Experience with NEC contracts

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the supply chain sourcing process for various procurement projects, ensuring successful delivery by sourcing from supply chains and wider markets
2. Shape and challenge business requirements using market and supplier insights
3. Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on innovation and value delivery
4. Manage and prioritize multiple sourcing initiatives using agile project delivery and problem-solving skills
5. Contribute to the development of best practices across the procurement lifecycle, ensuring regular reviews and updates
6. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, engaging and influencing at senior levels
