We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and fast-paced team for around 6-months. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service experience, confident handling customer queries and delivering high-quality support.
Location: Reading (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (6 months)
Pay Rate: £14.79 per hour
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Start Date: 20 April 2026
You will play a key role in resolving billing issues and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely information. You will act as both a customer-facing advisor and an internal point of contact, supporting colleagues with billing-related queries and contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling inbound customer queries, resolving issues and providing clear, professional support
- Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy across systems
- Acting as first point of contact for all customers
- Processing adjustments, including issuing credits and debits where required
- Supporting internal teams when required
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment
- Confidence in handling customer interactions over the phone
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
