Are you an empathetic, commercially minded HR professional who excels at empowering leaders and championing positive workplace culture? We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with management, drive employee engagement, and ensure smooth, policy-driven HR operations across the business. In this role, you will act as a key liaison across all levels of the organisation, providing trusted guidance on policy application, employee relations and staff well-being. You will work closely with the wider HR team to maintain a supportive, high-trust work environment where people thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and maintain clear policies and operational guidelines across the full employment life cycle.
- Maintain and update HR guidelines in line with evolving employment law, GDPR standards, and internal audit requirements.
- Guide leaders on daily operational HR matters, performance management, and fair employment practices to foster an inclusive workplace.
- Lead and advise on disciplinary proceedings, grievances, and formal investigations, facilitating mediation when necessary.
- Coordinate company-wide feedback channels and engagement surveys, analysing results to implement impactful action plans.
- Collaborate with Health & Safety to manage long-term absence cases, return-to-work plans, and proactive mental health initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership to promote incentive structures and maximise benefit scheme engagement.
- Support and up-skill junior team members within the HR administration function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar commercial HR position within a scaling business.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with modern HRIS platforms.
- Strong foundation in UK employment law, exceptional active listening, and a structured, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Details:
- Salary: £70,000-£80,000 DOE (plus bonus)
- Location: Leatherhead, 3 days office-based
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm
