HuntingtowerCommunity Primary Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiasticEnhanced Support Assistant (1:1 SEND) to work mornings daily 8.50am-12.10pm. Aswe provide lunch cover for some of our children, there is the possibilityofadditional hours that would be claimed for monthly.
Weare a primary school (4-11 year olds) situated in the west part of Granthamand part of the successful Priory Federation of Academies Trust. Wepride ourselves as being part of a widely diverse community and are fullycommitted to ensuring all pupils and their families are fully supported inachieving their goals.
Enhanced Support Assistant (1:1 SEND) play avital role in ensuring all of our students can effectively access thecurriculum both in and outside the classroom.This vacancy would suit an enthusiastic individual who is passionateabout working with students with additional needs, supporting them to developfrom both an academic and social perspective. An understanding of SocialEmotional and Mental Health needs would be beneficial.
Thesuccessful candidate should be computer literate and have worked with MSWord, Outlook and Excel. English and Maths GCSE grade A-C are essential and alevel 3 qualification or willingness to work towards the level 3(essential). Previous experience of working with childrenis desirable. The needs of the academy are constantly changing and permanentopportunities arise frequently.
