This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making.

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer in our Cornwall, England location. This role will provide relocation assistance to the most qualified candidate chosen for this role. You also must have an active Top Secret clearance for this role. The selected candidate will be part of the team responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and technical readiness of the program and facility equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Provides technical expertise for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
• Performs duties as Power Control Station/ Power Safety Officer (PCO/PSO) oversees the conduct of routine and preventative maintenance.

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 years relevant experience with bachelor’s in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Must have a background in Electronic Maintenance, Information Systems or Telecommunication disciplines.
• Must have experience with the management of electronic equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration, and calibration.
• Must have experience in Safety Procedures when working with electronic equipment.
• Must have a current or active DoD Top-Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
• Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
• Lifting and moving materials may be required.
