Overview
We are looking for a Street Cleansing Team Leader to join our team. Helping to lead a small team to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our streets, highways and public open spaces, you will be responsible for ensuring that Huntingdonshire remains a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small street cleansing team to maintain cleanliness and the appearance of streets, highways and public open spaces.
- Ensure operations are carried out to a safe and efficient standard, supporting the council’s service objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Full driving licence.
- Leadership skills and experience of working in an outdoor environment undertaking a range of manual tasks.
- Understanding of street cleansing operations.
- Note: this post requires a drug and alcohol test on appointment.
- Offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. The council does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
