Job details:
- Location: Eastfield House
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, circa 6am to 2pm daily, 37 hours per week full time.
We are seeking a refuse/recycling loader to be part of the team to primarily load different types of waste onto the collection vehicles. You will collect all forms of household and recycling waste, work as part of a crew and be polite, helpful and comfortable working outside in all weathers and able to lift heavy loads as part of your daily duties.
You must be able to make decisions on what waste can and cannot be removed, undertake risk assessments when working with the driver, be aware of health and safety in relation to manual handling and have good communication skills, both with your crew and the public. You will need to be able to follow instructions, always conduct yourself in a professional manner and work in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. All PPE will be provided.
