We are looking for a street cleanser driver to join our Street Pride team. Using specialist equipment, the Street Pride team carry out works to enhance key locations by removing weeds, clearing mud and detritus, edging footpaths and carrying out deep cleaning operations to support HDC's strategy to improve areas that need extra care. You will be responsible for ensuring that Huntingdonshire remains a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as part of the Street Pride team to carry out street cleansing operations using specialist equipment.
  • Remove weeds, clear mud and detritus, edge footpaths and perform deep cleaning to improve areas needing extra care.
  • Ensure Huntingdonshire remains a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors and businesses.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Full manual driving licence.
  • Understanding of street cleansing operations and experience of working in an outdoor environment undertaking a range of manual tasks.

Please note this post requires a drug and alcohol test on appointment. An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. HDC does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
