We're looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Digital Services Manager to lead how we design, deliver and improve digital services across the Council. This is a high-impact role at the centre of transformation, working with senior leaders to turn ambition into delivery. You'll shape our digital direction, lead a talented team, and ensure our services are simple, accessible and built around customer need. And you'll be joining us at a very exciting time as our LGR journey picks up pace, presenting an opportunity to shape digital services for a new Unitary Authority.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and deliver digital transformation programmes, collaborating with service managers on customer journey improvements.
- Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement of our digital products and services, including web and telephony, to ensure digital approaches deliver improved outcomes and service efficiencies.
- Shape strategic direction for digital activity in support of Corporate priorities and Local Government Reorganisation.
Qualifications & experience:
- A track record of leading digital services transformation in a complex organisation.
- Strong leadership and the ability to inspire teams and influence at senior level.
- A practical, delivery-focused mindset with a strategic outlook.
- Confidence working across technology, services and customer experience.
