Huntingdon Town Council is looking for a Facilities Officer to help keep our buildings in top condition. This role will support our properties, including the Coneygear Centre and Huntingdon Town Hall, ensuring they are clean, safe, and welcoming for the community.

The Facilities Officer will be responsible for cleaning and preparing rooms before and after bookings, setting out furniture and refreshments, and making sure kitchens, floors, and shared areas are kept to a high standard.
The role also includes locking and unlocking buildings, carrying out evening security checks at the Coneygear Centre, and helping with basic maintenance such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs.
You’ll also help keep external areas tidy, carry out routine safety checks, and make sure equipment and cleaning materials are used and stored safely.
This role would suit someone who is dependable, organised, and takes pride in keeping buildings welcoming and well looked after. It’s a varied, hands-on role and an important part of supporting services used by the local community.
