Hunters Legal is working with a leading International Law Firm to appoint an Associate Solicitor into its London-based Private Client team. The firm is recognised for advising individuals, families, trustees and charitable organisations on complex UK and international private wealth matters, with a strong emphasis on long-term client relationships and cross-border expertise.

The team handles highly sensitive work and is known for its collaborative, joined-up approach, enabling clients to receive seamless advice across multiple practice areas without the need to instruct several external providers.

The Associate Solicitor will support partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of UK and international private client matters. The role offers exposure to sophisticated wealth planning work for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, alongside advisory work for clients with more moderate wealth profiles.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting partners and senior lawyers across complex private client matters.
  • Advising UK and non-UK domiciled individuals on tax and succession planning.
  • Drafting, creating and restructuring trusts, companies and other wealth-holding structures.
  • Advising on UK tax residence and domicile status.
  • Managing wills, probate, estate administration and Powers of Attorney matters.
  • Assisting with Court of Protection and Deputyship work, including structures for vulnerable individuals.
  • Supporting business succession and exit planning.
  • Delivering pre-arrival and arrival planning for individuals relocating to the UK.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of client service with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across tax, corporate, real estate, disputes and international offices.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional intermediaries.
  • Contributing to marketing, profile-raising and practice development initiatives.
