This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Corporate practice advising founders, startups and investors on a wide range of venture capital and growth transactions. Team
The Venture Capital team sits within the firm’s market-leading Corporate department. The team advises on a broad range of corporate and venture capital transactions, acting for emerging companies and investors throughout the investment lifecycle. Matters include early-stage and growth financings, SEIS and EIS investments, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. The team has a strong reputation for supporting founders and startups, alongside a growing investor-side practice.
Key responsibilities
- Advising on venture capital and corporate transactions, including early-stage and growth investments.
- Supporting mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.
- Managing smaller transactions with appropriate supervision.
- Assisting on larger and more complex matters alongside senior lawyers and partners.
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
- Liaising directly with clients, investors and other professional advisers.
- Contributing to business development and the ongoing growth of the Venture Capital practice.
