The successful candidate will join the Commercial Property team on a permanent, full-time basis, advising on a broad range of commercial real estate matters. Working closely with colleagues across corporate, banking, tax and dispute resolution teams, the successful candidate will play an integral role in delivering coordinated legal advice while contributing to the continued growth of the practice through strong client relationship management and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property.
- Managing landlord and tenant matters, including the negotiation of leases and associated documentation.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial leases, licences and related agreements.
- Advising on development projects, site acquisitions, promotion agreements, option agreements and conditional contracts.
- Conducting title investigations and property due diligence.
- Advising on commercial property finance, secured lending and refinancing transactions.
- Supporting clients with ongoing asset management matters.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across corporate, finance, tax and dispute resolution teams.
