Hunters Legal is working with an International Law Firm that is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Contentious Trusts and Private Wealth Disputes Team. The team advises ultra-high net worth clients, trustees, and business owners on complex and high-value disputes, often with cross-border elements. It works closely with the firm’s non-contentious Private Wealth Team and other complementary practices and is recognised in leading legal directories for its expertise.
Team Structure: The team comprises partners, managing associates, junior and mid-level associates, a trainee, and a solicitor apprentice/paralegal. The team continues to grow alongside the wider Private Wealth practice, reflecting the firm’s strategic focus on this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of contentious trust and private wealth disputes cases, including strategy, evidence assessment, and trial preparation.
- Draft clear and concise legal advice, pleadings, and other documentation.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and internal teams to ensure smooth case progression.
- Conduct legal research using internal and external resources.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to trainees and paralegals as required.
- Assist with preparation of articles and other thought leadership materials.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Support business development and profile-raising initiatives.
