HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver Location: UK-wide Pay Rate: £14.00-£17.50 per hour Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (+ 5-6 Saturdays a year) Mitchell Drainage and Environmental Solutions Ltd have been in the business for over 27 years, providing top-notch services across the UK. We are looking for an HGV Class 2 Vacuum Tanker Driver to join our team and operate one of our high spec bespoke vacuum tankers. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a great career with us, with many benefits included. Key Responsibilities: Operate bespoke vacuum equipment and highly powered jetting equipment. Perform manual lifting of manhole covers, silt pit covers, and drain grates. Travel nationwide to complete various services, including cleaning interceptors, wash bay services, and line jetting. Understand and problem solve any issues that arise. Carry out daily and weekly maintenance checks on vehicles and pumps to ensure all equipment is fully operational. Requirements: Positive attitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to carry out manual heavy lifting. Class 2 license. Flexibility with working hours (early starts are often required). Driver CPC and Digi card. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits: Company credit card for truck stops and unforeseen expenses. Company fuel cards.
