Hunters' client, an established precision engineering manufacturer, is looking for a capable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join its busy team.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse operations, stock control and computer-based administration , with opportunities to learn and develop.
Warehouse Assistant - The Role
£36,442 per annum | 44 hours per week
Monday–Friday, with two shift patterns:
Shift 1: 6am–3pm (Friday finish 2pm)
Shift 2: 8am–5pm (Friday finish 4pm)
Goods in, stock control and dispatch
Packing and preparing orders
Maintaining accurate stock and computer records
Liaising with suppliers and transport companies
Supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
Warehouse Assistant – Fit
Previous warehouse experience – essential
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office , including data entry
Organised, accurate and comfortable with computers
Reliable, practical and a good team player
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Own transport essential
Forklift/counterbalance experience would be an advantage
