Hunters Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Quality Controller to join a busy manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous QA/QC experience who has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality.
Production Quality Controller - The Role
Working alongside the Mould Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for verifying production and completing all required quality control checks and associated paperwork.
- Ensure all items are quality checked and handled with care at all times.
- Carry out hourly patrols, including testing and measuring where required.
- Ensure all parts and jobs are correctly labelled from entry into the mould shop through to completion.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.
- Train production staff on product criteria and quality acceptance standards.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of shift production.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and within designated timescales.
- Ensure all equipment used is within calibration.
- Identify and report any deviations, defects or non-conformances.
- Work closely with supervisors and production staff to resolve quality concerns.
- Production Quality Controller - About you
Skills & Experience Ideally, you will have previous experience within a QA/QC, Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment, although full training will be provided by the QA department.
You should also have
- Excellent attention to detail and a highly observant approach.
- A methodical and organised approach to your work.
- The ability to take accurate measurements and record figures correctly.
- Confidence to raise production or quality concerns with supervisors and production workers.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to motivate others and encourage high standards of quality.
- Good report-writing and record-keeping skills would be advantageous.
Full training will be provided by the QA department.
Please note this position is employed on a temp to perm basis, 12 weeks through the agency then permanent on week 13.
