Hunters' client, an established precision engineering manufacturer, is looking for a capable and motivated Logistics & Warehouse Assistant to join its busy team. This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse operations, stock control and computer-based administration, with opportunities to learn and develop.
Logistics & Warehouse Assistant - The role
- Goods in, stock control and dispatch
- Packing and preparing orders
- Maintaining accurate stock and computer records
- Liaising with suppliers and transport companies
- Supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
Logistics & Warehouse Assistant -What we're looking for
- Previous warehouse experience - essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including data entry
- Organised, accurate and comfortable with computers
- Reliable, practical and a good team player
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Own transport essential
Forklift/counterbalance experience would be an advantage.
No previous customs experience required.
Salary & Hours
£36,442 per annum | 44 hours per week
Monday-Friday, with two shift patterns:
- Shift 1: 6am-3pm (Friday finish 2pm)
- Shift 2: 8am-5pm (Friday finish 4pm)
