Hunters' client, a rapidly growing property management group, is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Compliance Manager to take ownership of health, safety and compliance across its expanding residential portfolio. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You'll be getting into the detail of individual buildings, identifying compliance gaps, putting practical solutions in place and helping create consistent standards across the wider group.

Health & Safety Compliance Manager – The Role

  • Audit and assess compliance across a portfolio, covering areas including fire risk, legionella, asbestos, LOLER, EICRs and Building Safety
  • Develop and roll out H&S, compliance and contractor standards, ensuring actions are tracked through to completion
  • Support Building Safety Act requirements for higher-risk buildings, including Building Safety Case files and Accountable Person duties
  • Develop contractor vetting and compliance processes, ensuring suppliers meet consistent H&S and insurance requirements
  • Investigate incidents, identify trends and implement corrective actions while providing practical compliance support to property teams

Health & Safety Compliance Manager – The Fit

  • Experience in H&S and compliance within residential property, leasehold/block management or another regulated property environment
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, or currently working towards an appropriate qualification; IOSH membership is desirable
  • Strong understanding or willingness to develop knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order, CDM Regulations and HHSRS
  • Naturally investigative and detail-focused, with the confidence to assess compliance issues yourself rather than simply relying on reports
  • Excellent communicator who can work confidently with property teams, contractors, residents and RMC boards
