Account Manager - Aerospace
Location: Crawley (Office Based)
Salary: £30K + commission (DOE)
Hours: M-F 9-5.30

The Role
As Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the main commercial contact and ensuring customers receive a responsive, professional service at every stage of the sales process.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts, driving sales growth and profitability.
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry and quotation through to order fulfilment.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing customer accounts.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and service agreements.
- Conduct customer meetings, calls and presentations to strengthen relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are delivered efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines and customer information.
- Monitor customer activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Produce sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports.
About You
The successful candidate will be a confident relationship builder with strong commercial awareness and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
You’ll have:
- Previous experience in Account Management, Internal Sales or Business Development.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive and customer‑focused approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience managing the sales process from enquiry through to delivery.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within the aerospace, aviation or engineering sectors.
- Knowledge of aerospace aftermarket or Used Serviceable Materials (USM).
- Experience using CRM and sales reporting systems.
- Understanding of commercial sales performance, forecasting and margin management.
