Hunters’ client is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Surveyor to oversee repairs, voids, disrepair works, damp & mould remediation, and planned maintenance projects across a social housing portfolio.
Property Maintenance Surveyor – The Role:
- Conduct property inspections and diagnose building defects
- Prepare scopes of work and oversee repairs, voids, and planned works
- Manage operatives and subcontractors to ensure quality delivery
- Monitor project costs, variations, and programme deadlines
- Liaise with clients, residents, and stakeholders throughout projects
Property Maintenance Surveyor – The Fit:
- Experience within property maintenance, repairs, social housing, or construction
- Strong knowledge of building defects and remedial works
- Experience managing contractors and project delivery
- Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Social housing, housing association, or local authority experience
- SMSTS, SSSTS, CIOB, RICS, or relevant construction qualifications
- Experience with voids, damp & mould, and disrepair projects
