Hunters' client is an established and independent fire safety provider, expanding following continued growth and new contract wins. They are looking for experienced Fire Door Carpenters / Fire Precautions Installers to join their growing team and work across a wide range of client sites throughout Sussex and Surrey.
Fire door upgrades and maintenance Fire-rated cupboard installations and remedial works Fire compartmentation works, including stud walls and firelining Installation of pre-hung fire doorsets Removal and re-installation of door linings and frames Cutting, scribing and fitting architraves and skirting Routing intumescent strips and recessed drop seals Installation and adjustment of door closers, signage and other hardware Firestopping door lining/frame-to-wall gaps in accordance with BS 8214 Frame-to-leaf gap adjustments and other remedial works Manufacturing complete fire door assemblies Previous experience in carpentry, with fire door/fire safety experience essential Knowledge of BS 8214 Familiarity with BlueSky Accreditation requirements for fire door installation Excellent attention to detail and a precise approach to your work The ability to identify and complete remedial works correctly Your own tools suitable for fire precaution works, including routers, mastic gun, impact driver, combi drill and SDS A full UK driving licence The flexibility to travel throughout Sussex and Surrey 35,000 – £42,000 salary, depending on experience Company van Fuel card Company uniform Free parking Overtime and weekend work available Training and development opportunities Predominantly local work around Worthing - Full-time, Permanent - Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm - Overtime: Available, including weekends
